About this task
Complete the following steps to either require or allow users to use shared login.
Note: Shared login cannot be enabled on a Notes® client on which the "Client Single Login Feature" is installed. If necessary, uninstall the "Client Single Login Feature" on clients.
Procedure
1. Create or edit a Security Settings document and click the Password Management -> Notes Shared Login tab.
2. Select the options that match the behavior you want.
Note: If the "Client Single Login" was not installed on clients, users can enable shared login by selecting "Log in to Notes using your operating system login" in the User Security window.
4. Add the Security Settings document to a policy, if you have not already done so.
Results
If you selected Yes toAllow User Changes, users can control whether to use the feature by selecting or clearing the Log in to Notes using your operating system login check box in the User Security window.
